Why are you really here this lifetime? To grow spiritually and live your purpose. Some people fulfill their purpose, and some don’t. Most of the clients that come to me for readings and profiles are interested in knowing what their life purpose is, and how to fulfill it more closely. If you think about it, what could be more important than that!?

So how do you know if you are really on track with fulfilling your life purpose right now? Well, there are some definite clues and signs that will indicate to you whether you are fulfilling your purpose. Take a look at these signs and see if they fit for you, or whether there is room for improvement!

1. When you are living your life purpose, you feel fulfilled inside.

What are the things that you do that you just LOVE? Look for the areas of your life that bring you the most joy and fulfillment. You just LOVE to do these things, and lose track of time because you are enjoying yourself so much.

For me, it is when I am giving workshops and sharing with people. I am excited to have found my niche in life! It’s also when I am spending time with dear friends who I have an affinity with. I also love to be involved with gymnastics and spend time with children.

Not all of these things are what I get paid to do for a living. But they are all a part of my life purpose.  Take a minute to write down all the things you LOVE to do. Don’t censor yourself. Now find a way to incorporate those things into your life more.

I had been saying for years that I wanted to get involved in coaching gymnastics again, but never felt like I could commit to being hired by a local gymnastics club because my travel schedule for my business means I am away often. Finally, after about 6 years of talking about it and never doing anything I saw a new club starting locally and I told them I would simply volunteer my time so I could be involved.

After a couple of weeks, they offered to hire me and said they can cover when I need to be off traveling for my business. Awesome! It is fulfilling my love of being around children and the sport I’m passionate about and finding a way to incorporate that into my lifestyle. You can do this too! Find the solution; the universe has it for you!

2.  When you are living your life purpose, you go after what you really want.

We didn’t come here to go to a job to pay the bills. We came here to fulfill our desires and passions. As a soul you move by desire. Your desires and wants guide you to your next steps. That is what helps you to stretch and grow in new areas.

So don’t deny yourself the things you really want! Organize yourself to have them and achieve them. The things you want and your life purpose are one and the same. If you have been limiting yourself from going after what you want, it’s time to shift that now. Look at the solutions and set goals based on what you WANT, not what you THINK you can achieve. There’s a big difference.  Remember, you don’t have to know yet exactly how you will achieve your goals. Just know that if you want something, the way for you to have it is there to be discovered. Stay open!

3. When you are living your life purpose, you are learning from every experience.

Francisco Coll would say, “There are no mistakes, only stepping stones.” You can learn from every stepping stone you experience, even if it seems like a failure. Part of your life purpose is to grow as a soul. When you see every experience as a learning opportunity you really see the value of everything you are involved in, in life. The most important question to ask yourself is “What would I do differently next time?”

Then you will approach each new situation with a new wisdom and continue to have more happiness, fulfillment and success. When you pass on, all you will take with you is what you have put together for yourself through your experiences and growth.

Try something new this month that you have never done before. By stretching yourself to do new things, you will become stronger and more confident inside.

4. When you are living your life purpose, you truly love people and are willing to be of service wherever you can.

If you are reading this article, I am pretty confident in assuming that an important aspect of your life purpose is being of service to people. Communicating, sharing and being of service to others is one of the most richly rewarding things you can do while you’re here. For years I struggled to maintain close friendships because I feared rejection. I have learned to maintain a live and let live attitude for people. They won’t always do what I want because they have free will to choose and make their own decisions. I accept them as they are, but my life is a much more rewarding experience when I am actively involved in being with, sharing with and regrouping with people.

Find ways to be of service to people and you will be richly rewarded, both in spiritual abundance and material abundance. Open up and share your gifts with others! In the process, you will learn more about yourself and grow as a person. When you help others, YOU are often the person who is helped the most.
