Hi it’s Melissa again with Communicate with Angels and today’s topic is all about how to develop your psychic gift of Prophecy. This is part of a series that I’m doing on each of the four psychic abilities. So if you haven’t seen the previous videos, I’ve posted the link below. You can check out about your gift of Intuition or Clairaudience, your gift of Vision or Clairvoyance and your gift of Feeling or Healing and today we’re finishing up the series with the fourth gift of Prophecy and I will tell you it’s last but definitely not least. This gift is very powerful and it’s often one that is misunderstood and under-acknowledged in our society.

You have all four of the gifts of Intuition, Vision, Prophecy and Feeling. They told you have a sixth sense but you actually have four of them so that’s kind of cool and you receive impressions from all of them. You do have a unique gift order that you personally use so your first impressions come in through your first gift and if a person has the first gift of prophecy their impressions are an inner knowing. They just know things without being told. They don’t know how they know, they just know.

If you have a friend that says “I know” a lot, they may well be a Prophetic. Now, here are some of the personality traits of a person with a first gift of Prophecy. They are very creative. They live outside of the box. They will tend to daydream a lot and kind of zone out when there’s a lot of energy around. They are very creative and they’re good entrepreneurs. They’re good at kind of moving in and moving out and never imposing on someone but helping them to build up to their highest potential. They also can sense the future and know what’s coming. So when you get impressions through your psychic gift of prophecy, you will just know things like I said and it’s like this gut sense. You also get a lot of ideas and inspirations from the universe because the Prophetic gift is very much in tune with the universe. We all live in two worlds at once. We live in this physical, tangible world of Planet Earth because we have this physical body but then we’re still one with the universe or God or the cosmos, whatever you want to call it: source, energy. We’re still a part of that. You might call it the spiritual realm because that’s actually the real you. The physical body is just temporary.

The Prophetic can kind of zone out to the universe often, sometimes even use it as an escape if they get out of balance but they’re very comfortable tuning into ideas, inspirations that come kind of out of the blue because they’re kind of coming from that universe or kind of consciousness. And the sense of timing is not the same out there in the universe so they may be getting ideas that may need to wait to be implemented for a couple of years but they’re already getting and knowing now. Now, the other part of your psychic gift is premonitions of the future, maybe even seeing something that’s going to happen or having a dream that comes true. You hear this when disasters happen such as 9/11. Many people had a dream that was going to happen before it really did. So those things can happen.

I consider my gift of Prophecy one of my greatest resources in my work and business because when I get an idea to do a new project or to hold a workshop, I can sense the energy of it and that’s how your Prophetic gift works. It’s not always seeing it or understanding it or even being able to touch it, it’s just sensing the energy. This energy feels in alignment with my purpose. This energy feels like it will be very successful. This idea, you know it feels like the time is now to implement and you’ll just get a sense. So with this gift, you can kind of tune into the future and see does this feel like it will be successful or does it feel like this isn’t really going to work.

I have to say sometimes my Prophetic gift has told me that other people’s projects probably won’t work very well. It’s not my business to tell them that. You need to be very, very careful that you’re not minding other people’s business but it just helps you to discern, not in a judgmental way, but just to discern what I’m going to get involved in and what I’m not going to get involved in. There’s no logic to it, it’s just a sense and a knowing.

Would you like to practice? Let’s develop your psychic gift of Prophecy a little bit more. The first thing to do always when you’re connecting with your angels or when you’re using your intuitive gifts is to relax. And if you know the spiritual cleansing technique, go ahead and do that now because that is the best way hands-down to be able to relax and tune in. If you don’t know that technique yet, not to worry, the next best thing is just to take some slow, deep breaths. So let’s do that.

Take three, long, slow deep breaths and just allow yourself to center and relax.

Ok. One of your sensitivities for your gift of Prophecy is to be able to daydream. Doesn’t mean it’s always going to come true but you can use that creative force to daydream and imagine and sense the possibilities. Your Prophetic part knows that there are infinite possibilities available all the time and there is no lack.

What I’d like you to do is close your eyes and relax and I want you to start to imagine the future that you would like to create. What would you like to experience every day? What does that look like? What would you be feeling? What would you be doing? If you had no limitations? What work would you like to be doing? What kind of people would you like to be around? Would you be traveling? Would you be living where you are now? Would you be living somewhere else? Just really get a sense of what is your dream life experience? If you didn’t have to concern yourself with the responsibilities of paying the bills, raising your kids, what would you really be doing and who would be there with you? Ok, now that you have that, I want you to sense what that energy is like. Get a sense of that energy that’s part of your creative future. Really get a good feeling and a sense and a knowing what the energy of your future is.

Now, this is not cognitive. This is not an explanation. I can’t even…it’s hard for me to even describe how you will sense that energy, but you just will. So, here’s the beauty of this technique. Now that you have a sense of the energy and of course you can practice this more on your own, anytime an opportunity comes your way, you can tune in to your Prophetic power and say does this opportunity have a similar energy to it than my dream future? And if it does, it will be a stepping stone to leading you to that future that you desire to create. If it feels totally different, it may be taking you on a different path. Remember there’s no right or wrong but if you are committed to creating that future that you truly desire then pay attention to when a similar energy pops up. It could come from a conversation with a friend, from an opportunity, from a job offer, from a trip that you would like to take – anything. You can just tune in and discern is this a similar energy to my creative future?
